Royal Wednesday Blog Hop!
Today's Royal Wednesday challenge was to take inspiration from this photo:Of course, the beautiful striped chair covers just jumped out at me! I decided to make my own striped pattern in similar colors & use a large group of flowers rather than a main image.
Both of the patterns used for my stripes are from the Make Me Happy stamp set.
Now, continue your hop onto the fabulous Kelly Jean!
In case you get lost along the way, here's the hop list! :)

PTI Blog Hop!
Time for the August PTI bloghop! I just love the monthly bloghops, it's so great to see all the different projects that come out of the same challenge. This month the challenge was all about Autumn! Using the Autumn season as inspiration in whichever way you choose. Well, I had another idea in mind, but after seeing hundreds of acorns under a huge tree at the park the other day, I was inspired to do this simple card:
Using Heather's Beyond Basic Borders for the leafy branches, I used brown rhinestones as little glittery acorns! I stamped the branches in New Leaf and the sentiment in Dark Chocolate. Some twine wrapped several times around the top & that's it!
A nice, simple, but gorgeous card. It would be fun to do the same pattern, but use different sentiments to make a card set as a gift.
Thanks for stopping! Till next hop! :)

Mojo Turns 100- Day 7
Today's Mojo sketch is so much fun! I think these mosaic pattern card fronts always look fabulous in any number of squares. After finishing just the squares, I almost didn't want to cover it up with a top panel because it looked so pretty! I decided to stay with the square theme & used the square thank you stamp from PTI's squares set four times and than lined the bottom with some rhinestones from the same Taylored Expressions kit as the papers.
I used the rhinestones again on the lower left corner, added some ribbon(TE), crocheted flower (Fancy Pants) & button/twine(PTI).
Thanks again to all the Mojo team for a great week of sketches!

Mojo Bday Sketch 3!
This week's Mojo Monday was the 100th! In celebration, all the designers are chipping in their own sketches to have a new sketch every day for the week! I love the Mojo weekly sketches & find great inspiration in all the girls work, so I'm sketching down these new sketches everyday to use as soon as I can! Thanks girls for the awesome week! This card is based on sketch 3, I had to flip it to fit my main panel.
I loved this fun sketch & am definately going to play with it again!

CPS129 Sketch
I got Taylor's fab kit of the month from Taylored Expressions for this month and have been playing around with it using some sketches from the week. This is one using all stuff from the kit with this weeks CPS sketch:
The only stamping on this is the thank you sentiment. Usually stamping is the focus of my cards, but it's always fun to try something different, so I really tried to use the rub-ons from the kit and not stamp on everything! :)

Royal Kat Challenge Blog Hop!
You should have got to me from Maria. If not, please start back at the QKD blog to stop by everyone on the hop!
This week is a color challenge: pink & teal. I have to admit, this was a tough one for me! I love pinks, but teal is just not a color I use a lot. It took a while, but than it dawned on me that those colors were in this rockin' paper stack that I got from Prima! Perfect!
I used one of the stamps from the new Take a Journey Greetings set. I think it goes well with the Rock On paper & Zebra hearts! Wouldn't this be a fun "Rock on with your heart" encouragement card for a teen?!
Now it's over to Kelly Jean!!!

PDD FRIDAY!!!
It's time for PDD Friday & our focus of the month: Grungeboard! I love working with Grungeboard. It's similar to "naked" chipboard, but it's flexible & comes in some cool textured patterns as well. You can spend a lot of money buying different colors/patterns of chipboard to match projects you're working on, or you can use grungeboard and custom match it to your projects! I guess I'm on a Halloween kick right now, because this is my 2nd Halloween project of the week! It is my favorite holiday- dressing up, kids all over, candy...what's not to love?!
For today, I made a Halloween tag:
I used Grungeboard letters and painted with TH Crackle paint, than used a new Studio G stamp to stamp over the entire letter in black. That fun bat border is a new EK punch, I used the tiny bats that it punched out on the top of the tag as well (2 for 1!).
The whole Pez-A-Doodle team will be showing you fun ways of using Grungeboard this month as well as other projects, so make sure to go check them out!
And head on over to Pez-A-Doodle for Grungeboard, paint & new Halloween goodies!

PDD Tuesday!
PDD Wednesday posts are now on Tuesdays! Sorry for the delay today, I had some camera card issues :) But now I've got my pics up and ready to post! Today, I have a card using the new Halloween Studio G stamps with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch:
The cute dangly spider and Happy Halloween spiderweb are from the same Studio G set. I used my TH foam tool to ink the edges with black ink. Patterned papers are from last years MM line.
Thanks for stopping! Come back for more PDD fun on Friday!

Pez-A-Doodle New Release, Take 2!
Today the Pezzy girls are sharing projects with the new Nesties stamps - such a great idea & gorgeous stuff to see!
For my card I used the large Blackberry Nesties stamp. After die-cutting & embossing, I used my Tim Holtz foam applicator & Tea Dye distress ink pad to add color to the inside. This leaves a nice crisp edge around the die cut.
For the background paper, I used a Spellbinders Impressability (Butterfly) and again used the TH foam applicator to apply Tea Dye ink to make the embossing stand out.
For the card front, I cut it slightly shorter & used a border punch to finish off the bottom.
These stamps are so great for showcasing whatever image or sentiment you want to show off and frame them so nicely!
If you didn't check out the blog hop yesterday, see post below. Make sure to check out the other girls today & stop back soon for more using the fab new releases!

Here are my projects for today using Princess Isabella & Picnicin' Ant:
For my Ant card, I used pink flocking on the flowers to add some texture, cut out the main image and mounted with foam dots. (I decided to make a red ant) :)
For my Isabella card, I took her dancing as my inspiration, cut and mounted her on some sheet music patterned paper with foam dots.
Now, make sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's projects with the new releases today (they're all listed on my sidebar). We are also happy to have 2 fabulous guest designers for the new release:
Jessica Diedrich ( http://www.thewhimsicalbutterfly.blogspot.com )
Jeanne Streiff (http://inkypaws.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/)
After you check out all the projects, head on over the Pez-A-Doodle to get some new goodies!

QKD New Release Blog Hop!!!
Yay! It's time for another QKD new release blog hop! If you didn't start at the beginning, you'll want to make sure you see it all, so start at QKD blog!
This month, I got to use the new release Cats set. So much fun to play with the silhouettes & there are some great, fun sentiments! My late Great-Uncle was a very well respected cat Judge at cat shows all around the world and he was also an artist, drawing great bold black & white cat images, so I was inspired by him for my designs.

On both cards, I used a very dark charcoal paper to stamp the images on in white. I think it really shows them off nicely!
