Really, this is a very simple & inexpensive project. You just need a notepad, papers & some ribbon. You can either cut a piece from a magnetic sheet to glue to the back or use strips of magnets.

The inspiration photo for this weeks challenge reminded me of the soft creams & blues of winter & snow. Mabey it's because of Black Friday coming in 4 days (yippee!) or Thanksgiving Thursday, but I'm getting in the Christmas spirit this week! We have only had one snow this year so far which didn't last the day (very odd for MN) but I can still feel the excitement and wonder of Christmas. We even saw Santa for the first time of the season on Saturday.

The first thing I wanted to do with this was make a card using the yellow brick road, of course! :) I decided that the easiest way to do that was to just take a piece of yellow cardstock and hand draw brown lines for the bricks using a ruler. After finishing my "yellow brick" paper, I free hand cut it with a craft knife. I colored the image with copics, added some glitter to Dorothy's red shoes :) and mounted on red paper. I popped the main image up on pop dots to add to the effect of the yellow brick road in the background.
Now, onto Sara!
I love how she pops out above the little strips of paper. It has a very peaceful feeling, I think. :)
