When I first saw this challenge, I instantly thought of doing something "groovy"! :) I decided to use it as inspiration for a tag for my oldest son's back to school treat for when he comes home after the first day (today!). He's 14 and he always jokes that I raised him as a hippie! Perfect!
I first cut the circle images with my Cricut from the Groovy Times cartridge. I made a base from just white cardstock, stamped with the music notes & rounded the corners. The guitar die, banner die & stamps are all from Papertrey Ink.
I wanted to do a guitar in the three challenge colors, so I just used 3 teardrop ink pads to ink up the stamp, starting at the top with the lightest color & working down to red. I love the way it turned out & I know my guitar playing son will think it's pretty cool, too!
I used my project as a "topper" for a tube full of M&M's. Each of the kids will get their own when they get home today from school!
Thanks for stoppin & keep on hoppin!
